This hunting lease is located in WMU(6R) and is about 10 miles east of Utica. The property breaks down with about 43 acres of woods and 33 acres of tillable farm fields. The southern section has a power line running through it that is usable to public. the lease was logged several years ago and there are logging trails that can be cleaned up. The woods to the north is a series of knolls made up of maple, ash and hemlock. The knolls were covered with deer sign. The bottom section of woods and brush separates 2 farm fields. There are lots of tracks and one huge rub I found on the edge. Landowner stated he sees deer and turkey regularly in the fields. Landowner will allow ATV use for hunting purposes. No camping.
